Founding Sisters spaces from £385
Reserve your place today with a £150 deposit
Set in a secluded valley in the Black Mountains where wild horses roam and time slows down.
Through reflection, sisterhood, ritual, and embodiment, this retreat gently guides you to release old identities, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and return to life more fully as yourself.
You are so powerful.
Sometimes all you need is the space to remember it.
This retreat is about gently releasing the roles and expectations that have shaped who you think you should be, so you can reconnect with who you truly are.
Creating space for growth.
For expansion.
For the woman you have always known you could be.
This retreat is a space where you are nurtured, held and truly seen.
A safe and supportive environment where you can soften, open, and reconnect with yourself.
This is a space to create meaningful connections, to sit with other women who uplift and inspire one another. To find healing in the knowing that we are not alone, together we are stronger.
Through deep self awareness and recognising the gifts within ourselves, we create a strong foundation from which to show up in the world.
Imagine a world where every woman lives from a place of deep self trust and inner knowing.
We’d be unstoppable!
This is where transformation begins.
Let’s return to what women have done for centuries. Gathering, creating, laughing, walking barefoot on the earth.
The moment you arrive in the quiet valley, something begins to shift.
You breath in the fresh mountain air.
You let go.
You slow down.
The mornings begin gently, with a movement practice that helps you drop into your body.
A start to the day that makes you feel alive and connected.
A nourishing breakfast awaits, as you connect around the table with other women walking a similar path.
You gather for workshops that give you that space you’ve been craving.
You walk through the hills where wild horses roam.
Sit on the sacred land, hearing the call of the ancestors that have gone before.
There is space to rest.
To soak in the hot tub beneath the stars.
And as the days unfold, something inside begins to soften.
The roles you have been carrying loosen.
And you start to hear your own voice again.
Where the journey begins...
The Guardians at the Gate
As you arrive at the retreat you are welcomed by two carved totem poles standing quietly at the entrance to the valley.
The Sun Pole represents masculine energy, consciousness, and clarity. The Moon Pole represents feminine energy, intuition, and manifestation.
Together they symbolise the balance between these two forces. The very balance this retreat gently invites you to rediscover within yourself.
These guardians mark the threshold into the valley where this journey begins.
Carved from sweet chestnut from the surrounding Welsh forest by artist Ben Taylor.
THE SPACE
The retreat takes place in a beautiful converted stone barn surrounded by rolling hills and open landscape.
Inside, the space feels warm, grounding, and deeply peaceful.
Underfloor heating keeps the barn cosy, while open fires and wood burners create inviting places to gather in the evenings.
Outside, the valley stretches wide around you. There are quiet corners to sit with a journal or a cup of tea, a terrace overlooking the landscape, and evenings that may unfold around the fire pit and hot tub beneath the stars.
With very little mobile signal in the valley, the space naturally invites you to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with yourself, the land, and the women around you.
(Strong WiFi available throughout the house if needed.)
It is the kind of place where time softens, conversations deepen, and something within you begins to exhale.
Return to
the woman beneath the expectations.
She might be a nurturing mother who feels like she’s ready to give herself some more care.
She might be a woman who has built a successful career, yet sometimes wonders if there are other parts of her still waiting to be explored.
She might be the dependable friend, the organiser, the one who always holds everything together.
She might be a woman at a crossroads. A new chapter. A quiet sense that something in her life is shifting.
She might be creative but rarely gives herself the space to create. Intuitive but used to overriding that inner voice.
Different lives. Different stories.
But beneath the roles, the expectations, and the responsibilities… she is simply a woman who wants to feel more like herself again.
When women come together the energy shifts, connection deepens, we create magic.
The Land
The Black Mountains sit within one of the most ancient landscapes in Wales.
These hills have been walked by pilgrims, healers, and storytellers for thousands of years.
Welsh folklore tells of mystical women emerging from mountain lakes, of dragons sleeping beneath the land, and of sacred stones placed by our ancestors long before recorded history.
There is something quietly powerful about this place.
A sense that the land itself invites reflection, connection, and a return to what is essential.
The Retreat Journey
This retreat is inspired by an ancient psychological pattern known as the Heroine’s Journey, a process of stepping away from external expectations, descending inward to reconnect with truth and instinct, and returning to life with a deeper sense of wholeness. This retreat invites participants to move from stories of separation to belonging.
Across the three days we gently move through these stages together through ritual, reflection, embodiment, creativity, and connection with nature.
The Flow of the retreat
Each day follows a natural and spacious rhythm, allowing time for reflection, connection, creativity, and rest.
While the flow below gives an idea of how our time together may unfold, the retreat is intentionally not run to a rigid schedule. The energy of the group, the weather, and the needs of the moment will gently shape the experience.
Everything is optional and you are invited to flow with whatever calls to you.
*Please note that sauna and freshwater swimming will take place in two smaller groups to allow everyone a relaxed experience. You will be able to choose your preferred day after booking.

women's circles & workshops
There is no safer space for a woman than a space held by the sacredness of the circle.
These circles and workshops guide us on a journey of self discovery.
They create a supportive space where the energy of the retreat can unfold and be held.
Through reflection, meditation, gentle inner enquiry, and shared conversation, we slow down and begin to listen more deeply to ourselves.
In this space, new insights, connection, and understanding often arise naturally.
Creative Expression Ritual
Through intuitive painting and drawing, you’ll explore the feminine energy within you.
This is not about creating something perfect.
It’s about letting colour, symbol, and instinct reveal the woman beneath the roles you’ve been playing.
“As an artist, creative expression has always been one of the ways I reconnect with myself. During this ritual, I’ll gently guide you through a process that helps you access your intuition and express what words sometimes cannot.” – Sara
No art experience is needed, just a willingness to explore.
food
Delicious, nourishing meals will be shared throughout the retreat, thoughtfully prepared to support both body and mind.
Many of the ingredients come from the surrounding land, with organic produce and flowers from the venue’s own gardens abundant at this time of year.
There is something special about gathering around the table after a day of reflection, nature, and conversation.
Sharing food together becomes part of the experience, slowing down, enjoying wholesome dishes, and connecting with the other women in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

MEET YOUR HOST
This retreat is created and led by Sara, founder of Reviving Me.
“After years of holding women’s circles, I felt called to create a space where women could go deeper. A space where real transformation can unfold.
It is an honour to hold this space and witness women reconnect with the strength, wisdom, and light that has always been within them.”
Sara brings together her love of women’s circles, creative practices, nature, and reflective ritual to create spaces where women can pause, breathe, and remember who they are.
what others have experienced
My first women’s circle was with Sara, and it felt incredibly warm, welcoming, and empowering. As a busy working single mum, having that time to pause and reconnect with myself was such a gift, it made me feel truly seen and heard. I especially loved the guided meditation, and Sara’s calming presence made it easy to fully relax. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space for women to gather.
-Katie Page (Women’s Circle attendee)
Sara is such a nurturing soul that I always feel re energised motivated and lighter. A really lovely experience
-Helen (Women’s Circle attendee)
Sara is a beautiful soul. When I attend her circles, I feel safe and warm. Held and seen. She manages to guide meditations, in a soft and calming voice, whilst also making you feel empowered and strong. Her circles have given me community and confidence when I needed it most. Sara goes above and beyond as human to another human- but also woman to woman. She offers such a warm, soft, kind and gentle soafe to be yourself, whilst reflecting and moving forward.
-Elin Evans (Women’s Circle attendee)
I met Sara for the first time at one of her women’s circles. I was extremely in my head that week, full of anxiety & quite honestly really nervous because I was in the middle of grieving and couldn’t quite be my usual chirpy self. The second I sat down, I realised that it wasn’t an issue. We all connected instantly, it was gorgeous. Truthfully, once I started talking to Sara, I felt like we had known each other for years, I’ve never forgotton our gorgeous connection we shared that evening.
Not only was it great to talk to other women about life & listen to others, but we also got crafting which was a great distraction from feeling sad. It was the best circle I’ve ever been too.🩷
I highly recommend anything that Sara does, I cannot wait until she’s in Shrewsbury doing another one!
-Jas (Women’s Circle atendee)
Sara’s women’s circles are refreshing, enlightning and empowering. She has a gift of making you feel relaxed, calm and enabling thought provoking realisations of your inner self.
-Linda Williams (Women’s Circle atendee)
